Twelve days to Christmas!

How many of you thought today was the first day of Christmas? It's okay, don't admit it because I know you're one of them.

I'll sound really stupid by admitting this but I honestly thought today is the first day of Christmas. I did the calculation and everything. But then, something felt wrong so I googled it.

I feel like an idiot now.

If you guys didn't know, it should be the other way around.

Right, back to the topic.

I visited Changi Airport to get a lil christmas atmosphere.
I heard that Changi is having a Christmas Fantasy so I couldn't wait to check it out.. (not to mention the mini flea - Blogshops@Changi)

BF and I started our trip with a yummy brunch at the T2 staff canteen.
I missed the Xiao Wan Mian, one of the better ones in Singapore. (in my food guide at least.)
The noodle tastes great. You know how some noodles taste like flour? The ratio of sauce and noodle is PERFECT. But.. the soup can be better. haha!



BF's yummy mixed meat rice. I tried the chicken(nearer to the soup) and duck. Smooth and tender meat = yum!



I was so excited to check out the Christmas decorations. I felt so happy just being at Changi Airport. The cool air, the clean floors and the different kinds of people around. I always imagined myself as one of the travelers and pretend that I am flying off to some exotic country that day. (Yeah, I'm cool like that.)

This time, it was different because there were a lot of Christmas decorations around! It made things different. The only thing that was missing was Christmas music. Imagine cheery Christmas songs playing softly in the background! The decorations at T2 took an aquatic theme. There were seahorses, fishes and even Santa mermen.



Me: "Ohh! So cute, blue M&Ms! That looks out of place."
BF: "Those are fishes."
Me: "Oh. But it really looked like M&Ms!" (Fail. LOL.)


Even the departure gate is decorated! It's so weird to see Santa in yellow. Now you can leave Singapore happily and in the Christmas mood!

We hopped on the skytrain and headed off to T3. I heard there was a HUGE teapot.. reminds me of Alice in Wonderland! My first friend in T3? Let me introduce Mr Sleepy Santa Clause...





So adorable! I love the big bouncy castle! I'm not really sure if its only for kids because I saw a couple of adults running on it. But if you are bringing your kids/cousins/siblings along, please make sure they are above six years old! (Min. age)

And now, ladies and gentlemen, it's the giant magic teapot !!!!



It's so dreamy and pretty! Something you can expect in a children storybook. It was hard taking a picture without anyone in it so that was the best I could do. There were Pegasus (horses with wings), fairies and of course, Santa at the very top. "Water" was flowing out of the teapot's mouth. You know what else it looks like? A romantic setting in the garden! Look at the second picture. Imagine a couple walking to the core of the teapot and looking at each other deeply.. Aww! If only they made a walkway or made the teapot into a sort of pavilion where people can enter and take their pictures.

After gushing over the special teapot, I headed to a girl's mini heaven. The Blogshops@Changi! The mini flea was split into two areas - one area is near the kopitiam and the other is found beside the usual pushcarts. I took the lift down and the first thing I saw was...



... this. A row of stalls selling clothes, toys and products for children. And I thought that was it. I felt really cheated until I decided to walk further up. There was another part of it! You can find everything from the typical blogshop clothes to accessories to shoes. If you want to buy cheap and beautiful necklaces, you should definitely visit the first stall near the corner to the right. I bought two necklaces from the really nice owner. (: But remember to bring cash! Like the common fleas, they don't accept cards.
