1) It's Worldskills SINGAPORE.


Cheesy as it sounds, we should show a little love for our country.
Also, the people who are participating are from the local polys and ITEs.
GO SINGAPORE! winners get to travel London to join the international Worldskills.

2) Different things


There are so many skills to see at Worldskills!!
I mean, do you know what every competition is about?
Not me. Like, what IS creative modelling? @__@
It's an opportunity to see new or interesting things.

Like what i've mentioned before, the one I look forward to the most is Cooking.
Just imagine the different courses of meals that they are going to prepare, makes me drool.
Fried till golden brown, shiny surface on the skin, juice dripping from the meat, fresh greens, the sweet soup smell in the air.. omg, must stop.

I'm making myself hungry at 12am!!

3) The location


If you don't know, it's at the new ITE!
So pretty right? I'm staying at the hotel now, doing my job and blogging.
This school is RIDICULOUS. I mean, a SHOP AND SAVE in a school ?!
This is the life man. Hahah. OH, and I saw retail shop selling clothes.
and I never seen a proper hotel in a school. You will NEVER know it's part of the school.

4. MASCOTS ALERT!


Remember the YOG seasons?
The sales of the mascots plushies went off the chart!
I remember going down to the superstore and there was none left. ):
People have a thing for cute mascots.. hey! Worldskills has it too!
The mascots, as you can seen above, are called Skillions. (Skills + lions)
Cheeky names but I can't wait to see them at the event!!

5) BEHIND-THE-SCENES


This is the first..(i think) Worldskills Singapore where they engage bloggers. (like me!)
Lucky you!!! You get to enjoy all the benefits of having young bloggers.
You get first hand information IMMEDIATELY, read information that you like, get to see LOTS of photos and read behind-the-scene secrets that you don't see on official media. (*nudge*)
