Day ONE of Worldskills, I went around to check out the various competitions.
One event that caught my eye was cocktail competition under Restaurant Services.
My idea of cocktail is very bartender-ish.
I imagine a group of guys shaking that metal container. But nooooo. (I know, noob.)
The five competitors, except one, were all GIRLS.
And they were all really skillful.
The way girls do it, it's different. Yes, they are doing the same thing, but the experience you receive is unique.




Ta-dah!


The girls deserve a huge round of applause. Y'all look really good! :D


The only guy in the competition, but he's not being a gentleman. He don't let his standard slip just because his competitors are girls.


Judging begins and I left for other events.
It really shows how much the generation has changed and more girls are doing what guys are.
The level of equality has really improved and I'm actually glad to be part of this reasonable society. I mean, who says girls can't do it? Even if we can't, at least we have the guts to try.


Day two begins in 7 hours! I better get some rest.
Gonna do more updates tomorrow on Cooking and visual merchandising.
